Lee has had a long and varied career spanning almost 40 years across a range of educational sectors and settings including early childhood and specialised services for children with disabilities.
Lee is highly motivated and outcome focused with particular strengths in inclusive teaching and pedagogy that strives to serve the needs of all students, regardless of background or identity, and support their engagement with learning. Lee has a deep understanding of educational systems, processes and procedures particularly in the disability sector. As an experienced Educator, Mentor, Instructional Leader and Manager, Lee coaches educators to create environments that recognise the diverse ages, interests, preferences, abilities and learning styles of all children.
Lee has master level growth coaching qualifications and expert level knowledge in Autism, Positive Behaviour Support, Change Management and Trauma Informed Practice. Lee has a wealth of knowledge and experience in differentiating instruction and environments and she has shared her expertise at educational conferences and workshops nationally and internationally. Lee is proud to have worked with hundreds of families and professionals over the last 35 years and she has strong sustainable partnerships with key disability organisations and services. Lee has also worked extensively in regional and remote communities with Aboriginal families and education settings across Australia.
Lee believes that Inclusion in the classroom means that all children, no matter their racial, religious, or ethnic background, gender, learning style, or ability have equal access to educational opportunities in a learning environment where all students are equally safe, valued, and respected.

Centres may be eligible for the Innovative Solutions Support Funding (Inclusion Fund Manager) offered by KU. An application for the IDF Innovative Solutions Support may relate to a particular care environment where the inclusion barrier is presented, or in the context of the whole service.
